Reportedly, the export prices of the US HMS 80:20 (1&2) to Taiwan have dropped to US$355/ton CFR this week, decreasing by US$7~US$10/ton from a week ago.
It’s learned that the US scrap suppliers offered HMS 80:20 (1&2) quoted at US$362~US$350/ton CFR this week and the transaction prices were at US$355/ton CFR, falling by US$7~US$10/ton from the previous week, affected by the fact that Turkey’s purchasing prices of the US scrap slumped by US$15/ton recently.
Meanwhile, it’s said that the Taiwanese steel mills expected to purchase the US HMS 80:20 (1&2) at prices of US$350/ton CFR.
