China’s Daily Crude Steel Production Rises in August

According to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the aggregate daily crude steel output of large and medium-size steel enterprise in China averaged at 2.1381 million tons in August, rising by 1.24% from the previous month.
 
The country’s crude steel amounted to 66.28 million tons in August, rising by 12.8% year on year.
 
In the first eight months of this year, China’s crude steel output amounted to 521.84 million tons, increasing by 7.8% year on year.
