Chile’s Rebar Shipments Surge by 17.3% M-O-M in July

According to data released by Chile's construction chamber (CChC), Chile’s rebar shipments totaled 54,806 tons in July, jumping by 17.3% from a month ago and up by 1.4% year on year.
 
In the first seven months of this year, the country’s rebar shipments amounted to 366,753 tons, up slightly by 1.1% from 370,965 tons in the same period of a year ago.
 
Meanwhile, the Chilean rebar market is supplied by the major two steelmakers, CAP Acero and Gerdau.
