Russia’s Stainless Steel Imports Rise in Jan-Jul

Russia’s imports of stainless steel products totaled 22,249 tons in July, rising by 18.8% from a month ago, rising by 18.8% from a month ago, according to data released by Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
 
Meanwhile, the country’s exports of stainless steel products totaled 1,929 tons, slumping by 44.3% from a month ago.
 
In the first seven months of this year, the country’s stainless steel product imports amounted to 137,990 tons, increasing by 8.2% year on year.
