US Rebar Manufacturers Urge Government to Start AD Probe on Imports from Mexico

It is reported that US manufacturers of steel rebar has called for antidumping (AD) investigation against imports from Mexico.
 
According to USA’s Rebar Trade Action Coalition, Mexican and Turkish producers are dumping this product at margin ranging from 42.1% to 66.8%, which causing significant harm to US producers, including a decline in pricing and profits.
 
Rebar imports to the US from the two countries have increased sharply in recent years, from 7% in 2010 to 17% in the first half of 2013, the body said.
