It’s reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan announced to raise its domestic prices for most steel flat products for October and November deliveries, driven by rising steel prices in global market and positive expectation for the fourth quarter.
CSC decided to hike its domestic prices for hot rolled and cold rolled coils/sheets by NT$708/ton and NT$523/ton respectively.
After the adjustment, its domestic prices for SPHC hot rolled coils are at NT$20,101/ton; those for SPCC cold rolled coils are at NT$23,191/ton.
Alos, CSC hiked its domestic prices for electro-galvanized coils and hot dipped galvanized coils by NT$600/ton and NT$470/ton respectively.
However, CSC remained its domestic prices for bars, rods and plates unchanged for October and November.
