Print[Ferro-alloys.com] National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC) declared recently it would elevate the standard of renewable energy electricity price and denitration electricity price, as well as add the dust removal electricity price. This was to support the development of renewable energy, encourage power plants to transform dust removal facilities and improve air quality.
Price department of NDRC disclosed China would divide sales price of electricity into three categories within five year. Current electricity price was classified into seven categories by industry and application. In five years, it would be classified by electricity load characteristic, and simplified price system would be set.
Current electricity price system evolved from the era of planned economy, and it was classified by industry and application. Electricity price was divided into seven categories including resident, agricultural production, large-scaled industry, commercial, non-industrial application, ordinary industry and non-resident application. After electricity shortage was gone, this price system was no longer practical.
