Zambia's Copper, Manganese Shipments Halted by TAZARA Strike

[Ferro-Alloy.com] An on-going strike by workers of Tanzania, Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) has halted exports of copper and manganese which are being shipped via the Da es Salaam port from Zambia.
 
The strike has also halted supplies of sulphur destined for the mines in Zambia, TAZARA says. Cargo is stuck in Tanzania as the strike, which began on August 23, drags on.
