The price was quoted at USD 2,300~USD 2,350 per tonne CFR in late July, the price is to reach USD 2,450 per tonne CFR but it still needs time to see if the buyers would accept.

In the Chinese domestic market, the prices of cold rolled austenitic stainless steel increased by USD 32 per tonne on Wuxi market last week, reaching about USD 2,725 per tonne.

Japanese mills are estimated to join the price negotiation next week. If Chinese mills really increase the price by USD 100 per tonne the Japanese mills would probably follow the move.
