China’s Zinc conc Imports Fall in July; Arbitrage Stays Favourable

[Ferro-Alloys.Com] China’s zinc concentrate imports fell 13% from the previous month in July mainly on summer maintenances by smelters, though the price ratio between Shanghai and London markets remain favourable for imports this month.
 
July import of zinc ore and concentrate was 197,502 tonnes, up 77.4% from the same month last year, according to the latest customs data. The price ratio between Shanghai and London markets was around a key threshold of 7.8 in the previous month.
