[Ferro-Alloys.Com] Copper prices on the London Metal Exchange were up during Asian morning trading on Thursday August 22 as data from China pointed at recovery in the country's manufacturing sector.
At 04:05 London time, three-month copper was up $72 per tonne from its opening to trade at $7,332 per tonne. HSBC’s flash purchasing managers’ index (PMI) rose to 50.1 in August, from the 11-month low of 47.7 in July.
