[Ferro-alloys.com]According to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom, in September 2013 Ukraine's crude steel production is expected to decrease by 5.1% compared to July to 2.670 million metric tonne.

According to Metallurgprom's forecast, in September pig iron output in Ukraine will total 2.490 million metric tonne, up 0.7% compared to the July results, while Ukrainian production of rolled steel is expected to total 2.4 million metric tonne, down 2.3% compared to July.

In August, Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.760 million metric tonne of crude steel, 2.530 million metric tonne of pig iron and 2.470 million metric tonne of rolled steel.
