[Ferro-alloys.com]According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia, in the first seven months of the current year Russia registered a 2.4% decline in its rolled steel product output to 33.8 million metric tonne, a 3% decrease in its crude steel output to 40.4 million metric tonne and a 0.7% decline in its pig iron production to 29.2 million metric tonne, all YoY.

In the given period, Russia saw an 8.6% increase YoY in its steel pipe production to 5.9 million metric tonne.

In addition, in January to July Russia produced 199 million metric tonne of coal, unchanged YoY and 15.2 million metric tonne of metallurgical coke, down 3.9% YoY.
