[Ferro-Alloys.com] Trade unions remain to be convinced by ArcelorMittal’s newly revised plan for its Liège steelmaking site in eastern Belgium.
Union representatives told on Thursday July 18 that the new plan was not necessarily different from the plan originally announced on January 24. The company said in January that it would close its hot strip mill in Chertal, one out of two cold rolling flows in Tilleur, galvanization lines 4 and 5 in Flémalle and electro-galvanizing lines HP3 and HP4 in Marchin.
