Tata Steel Europe Posts $1.7bn Net Loss

[Ferro-Alloys.com] Tata Steel Europe posted a £1.13 billion ($1.7 billion) loss for the financial year ended March 31 2013, according to a report filed at the UK’s Companies House on July 3.
 
Tata Steel Europe made a loss of £685 million in the previous financial year. “Europe’s economic deterioration last year reversed the modest recovery in European steel demand that had been going on since 2009.
