BHP Billiton Had Record Iron Ore Production

[Ferro-alloys.com] BHP Billiton had record iron ore production in the nine-month period ended on Mar. 31, 2012, with 122.2-million mt compared to 118.6-million mt in the same year-ago period. BHP expects to produce 183-million mt in the year ending on June 30, 2013. Iron ore production in the March quarter was 40.2-million mt, 6% higher than in the March quarter of 2012 when production was 37.9-million mt.
