Nearly a third of large China steel mills suffered loss in January

According to CISA, the sales revenue of 86 large and medium-sized steel mills in China amounted to CNY 300.292 billion for January, up 16 percent year on year and the profit was CNY 1.338 billion.
 
Amid 86 steel producers in calculation, there are 26 steelmakers confronted CNY 2.079 billion of loss in January.
 
In view of limited demand growth, high steel production would further intensify the balance of steel supply and demand in China.
