[Ferro-Alloys.com]Hsin Kuang Steel, one of the major steel service centers in Taiwan has announced its October sales revenue totaled NTUSD450 million, falling by 27.4% from NTUSD620 million in this September, this is also the second worst monthly sales number of the year.
The company's manager said since Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) announced to cut its December prices, most of users have taken want-and-see position in new purchasing, causing its October shipping volumes and sales revenue drop.
For the prospect, Hsin Kuang Steel said the steel prices have touched the bottom and the construction market demand may rise in the end of the year, helping its sales revenue to improve in November and December.
