[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to data released by the Turkish Iron and Steel Producers' Association (DCUD), Turkey’s crude steel output totaled 3.05 million tons in September, rising by 1.9% year on year ad increasing by 0.3% from a month ago.
In September, the country’s crude steel production from electric arc furnaces (EAFs) rose by 4.6% while that from blast furnaces (BFs) decreased by 5.4%, both compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
In the first nine months of this year, the country’s crude steel output totaled 27.15 million tons, rising by 8.4% year on year.
