[Ferro-Alloys.com] Turkey exported 116,298 tons of longitudinally welded pipes in August, falling by 8.9% from a month earlier while rising by 20.8% year on year,

In August, the country’s exports of spirally welded pipes totaled 22,462 tons, jumping substantially from 6,819 tons in July and 5,431 tons in August, 2011.

In the first eight months of this year, the country’s exports of longitudinally welded pipes amounted to 1 million tons, rising 9.4%; that of spirally welded pipes was at 116,336 tons, increasing by 3.4%, both compared to that in the same period of a year ago.

In the given period of time, the country’s export revenues generated by spirally welded and longitudinally welded pipes totaled USD894.5 million and USD129 million, increasing by 1% and 10.8% year on year respectively.
