Turkey’s Imports of Stainless Coils Rise by 11% in Jan-Jul

[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported 32,204 tons of stainless coils in July, jumping by 26% year on year and soaring by 24% from 25,932 tons in June.
 
In July, Taiwan was the largest stainless coil exporter to Turkey with 10,230 tons and Germany was the second largest one with 3,612 tons.
 
In the first seven months of this year, Turkey’s imports of stainless coils amounted to 221,397 tons, rising by 11% year on year.
