US Stainless Imports Fall Slightly in August

[Ferro-Alloys.com]  According to statistics released by the US Department of Commerce (DOC), the US stainless import license totaled 109,067 tons in August, falling slightly by 2.67% from July’s preliminary figures of 112,063 tons.
 
Among them, the imports of stainless cold rolled coils (CRC) rose to 30,590 tons in August from 29,768 tons in July; that of stainless hot rolled coils (HRC) surged significantly by 50% to 17,793 tons.
