China's Coal Imports Up 15.3% in July

[Ferro-Alloys.com] China's coal imports rise 15.3% YoY to 20.21 million metric tons in July 2012, according to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs.The imports for last month were lower than 22.52 million metric tons it realized in June this year.
 
According to the statistics, China's coal exports reached 499,339 metric tons last month.
 
In the first seven months of this year, the country's coal imports amounted to 133.12 million metric tons, 51.75% more than in the same period of last year.
