[Ferro-Alloys.com] The Special Steel Enterprises Association of China (SSEA) currently predicted that China’s stainless steel output would reach 26 million tons in 2015.
However, the growth rate of the country’s apparent stainless steel consumption would slow down to 23.7% in 2015, much lower than the growth rate of 58% during 2006 through 2010.
The output of ferrite stainless steel will acquire 50% of the country’s total stainless steel production in 2015, from the current 25%.
According to statistics, the Stainless Steel Council of China Special Steel Enterprise Association (CSSC), China’s crudes stainless steel output totaled 12.591 million tons in 2011, increasing by 11.86% year on year.
Analysts indicated that the China’s 2011 stainless steel output growth rate has dropped substantially from a year earlier and the Chinese stainless steel industry has been facing a difficulty market situation in 2012.
