Chinese iron ore import volume from Australia, Brazil and India accounted for 75.4% in the first half of 2011, decreased 6.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year. Among imported iron ore, India accounted for 14.9%, Australia and Brazil accounted for 40% and 20.5% respectively.
China’s iron ore import country rose to 53 from 37 in last year by June 2011. South Africa was the fourth largest iron ore import country to China, accounted for 5.3% in the iron import market.
