[Ferro-alloys.com] On February 12th, China’s Ministry of Finance issued a notice on inspection & quarantine fee of export commodity. According to the report, inspection & quarantine fee would still be exempted in 2014, so that exporters’ burden could be reduced while export growth could be promoted. To be specific, from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2014, for all outbound goods, transportation facilities and other legal objects, inspection & quarantine fee would still be exempted. The necessary fund for inspection & quarantine agencies to perform their functions would be arranged by central budget. All regions or departments related should strictly enforce the provisions of the notice and the implementation must be strengthened.
