Nonferrous Geological Bureau of Yun Nan Found 4 Nickel Ore Deposits in Indonesia

[Ferro-Alloys.com]Nonferrous Geological Bureau of Yun Nan Province, China, had gained great breakthrough in mining exploration in foreign countries by implementing the ”Going Out “strategy and taking advantages of the ‘Two markets, two resources’.
 
During the process of exploiting mines in Burma, Cambodia, Laos,Indonesia and other countries, Nonferrous Geological Bureau of Yun Nan had found one super-large ore deposit, three large mineral deposit, two medium-type deposit and one small mine. In Myanmar Dagon Hill, 680,000tons nickel metal was found. Besides, China Nonferrous Metal Ming (Group) Co., Ltd and Tai Yuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd had constructed a nickel smelter in Burma, of investment of USD$ 850million and annual output of 22thousand tons nickel metal, becoming the largest mine investment project of China in ASEAN. In addition, they had discovered 4 nickel ore deposits.
 
Nonferrous Geological Bureau and PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk ("Lippo Karawaci") had found 804,100tons lead, 117,900tons zinc, 182,000tons gold and 150,000tons copper. What’s more, during the cooperation with PT. Bumi Makmur Selaras, 6.21million tons nickel ore and 100million tonsiron ore were found. In April, 2013, the Bureau had signed further cooperation agreement with PT. Bumi Makmur Selaras, which provided that excessive RMB50million’s investment would be put to the Indonesian mines exploration and another RMB50million to two new projects in Kun Ming Province in China.
