[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to the statistics, the total operating rate of ferronickel in Aug. was about 53%, decreased by 5% compared with last month. As the spot was tight, some discontinued manufactures chose to start work at middle and late Aug. so the total production in Aug. had no much improvement. Specifically, the total FeNi output was 609,300tons, 29,300tons higher than last month. The high ferronickel increased by 38,300tons to 388,300tons; medium FeNi output increased by 4,000tons to 31,000tons; while low FeNi output decreased by 10,000tons to 190,000tons.
