US HC FeCr Imports Down Year on Year

[Ferro-alloys.com]US imports of high-carbon ferrochrome were 244,694 mt in the first seven months of 2013 and 37,537 mt in July vs. 270,626 mt and 32,570 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. The major suppliers in July (first seven months of 2013 in parentheses) were: South Africa, 19,089.5 mt (162,521 mt); Kazakhstan, 15,970.7 mt (48,266 mt) and Russia, 2,143 mt (11,870 mt).
