[Ferro-alloys.com]The US imported 22,108 mt of up to 0.5% C low-carbon ferrochrome in the first seven months of 2013 and 2,549.5 mt in July vs. 28,940 mt and 5,193 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. The major suppliers in July (first seven months in parentheses) were: Russia, 3,011 mt (17,547 mt); Kazakhstan, 1,226 mt (3,834 mt); Turkey, 356 mt (1,881 mt) and Germany, 340 mt (3,799 mt).
