[Ferro-Alloys.com]Non-ferroalloys was used for producing stainless steel and alloy steel, its raw material -nickel ore, has important economic value. Qinghai Xiari hamu copper & nickel mining was found by geological bureau in 2011. After two years’ reconnaissance, the nickel resource of the mining was estimated exceeds 800thousand tons, reaching the large-scale deposits. Its potential value was about RMB 70 billion, which could release the supply and demand contradiction of nickel ores in China after exploitation.

Xiari hamu ming had the advantages of abundant resources, high grade, shallow burial and easy exploitation. According to the preliminary estimate, its grade was about 0.7-0.75%. Except nickel, it also has copper and cobalt element. This mining was expected to construct the infrastructure and make trial exploitation.
