[Ferro-Alloys.com] Global Tungsten & Powders (GTP) announced it had received information suggesting that the integrity of its tungsten supply chain in Colombia may have been compromised and that it has suspended activities there, effective immediately. However, statistics from the International Tungsten Industry Association showed that just 124 tonnes of tungsten were exported from Colombia in 2012, meaning market participants can rest assured that already-straitened supplies will not be tested further.
