European ferro-tungsten prices break through 2013 highs

[Ferro-Alloys.com] Ferro-tungsten prices in Europe have broken through highs seen in May this year, as market participants say they are headed for $50 and above.
 
Metal Bulletin’s in-warehouse Rotterdam quotation moved up to $47.50-49.50 per kg, beating the previous high for 2013 of $48.50 per kg. The rise follows news that Vietnam Youngsun is unable to confirm when it will be able to resume shipments to Europe, following mains power failures.
