[Ferro-alloys.com]US imports of 55-80% ferrosilicon in the first four months of 2013 were 52,315.2 mt and 7,574.2 mt in April, the lowest monthly total of 2013, vs. 90,487.4 mt and 14,491.8 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. The major suppliers in the first four months of 2013 (same 2012 period in parentheses) were: Russia, 23,590.6 mt (53,385.7 mt); China, 8,701.5 mt (14,087.8 mt); Venezuela, 9,271.2 mt (5,572.3 mt); Iceland, 3,047 mt (5,880.2 mt); and Canada 4,847.5 mt (3,891.3 mt). There were no April imports from Russia or Venezuela.
