According to data of Korea Customs Service, from January to July 2022, South Korea imported 9672.90 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), of which 4270 tons were imported from China, accounting for 44.14%; 2751.2 tons were imported from Norway, accounting for 28.44%; 1645.2 tons were imported from Japan, accounting for 17.01%; 570 tons were imported from Thailand, accounting for 5.89%; 300 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 3.10%.
