Japan February Exports of Stainless Steel Update

[Ferro-Alloys.com]Japan exported 57,000 ton of stainless steel flat products in February, decreasing by 19.7% from a month ago but increasing by 6.8% from a month ago, according to the data released Japan’s Ministry of Finance.
 
In February, the country’s exports of stainless steel flat products to Korea totaled 13,744 ton falling by 24.4%; those to China were at 9,056 ton slumping by 50.2%, both compared to those in the same month of 2012.
 
In the first 2 months of this year Japan’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 110,386 ton decreasing by 4.2% YoY.
