The major suppliers in 2012 (same 2011 period in parentheses) were: South Africa, 235,089.3 mt (243,497.4 mt); Kazakhstan, 92,729.9 mt (119,523.6 mt); Turkey, 32,021.8 mt (8,693.3 mt); Russia, 29,438.9 mt (33,013.2 mt); Zimbabwe, 29,378.7 mt (23,786 mt); India, 13,419.3 mt (13,393.5 mt); and Sweden, 12,812.4 mt (11,059.7 mt).
