[Ferro-Alloys.com] China has met its target of reducing steel output by 150 million tons two years ahead of schedule, as envisaged in the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Monday.
The ministry added that the country's industrial output, an important economic indicator, reached 31.31 trillion yuan ($4.84 trillion) last year, making it the world's largest manufacturing power for 11 consecutive years.
