In 2020, the total global refined nickel production is about 2.42 million tons, while the demand is 2.37 million tons, 66,000 tons less than the same period last year.

In addition, the number of nickel stocks reported on the London Metal Exchange (LME) is approximately 95,000 tons higher than the level at the end of 2019.
