On the same day, there was news that BYD’s auto sector was also undergoing organizational restructuring in recent days, involving adjustments in the appointment of multiple executives. Among them, Zhao Changjiang, the former general manager of BYD Automobile Sales Company, will be transferred to a high-end brand to be responsible for the preparation work. Prior to this, BYD issued an announcement stating that in order to expand the company’s holding subsidiary business and meet its funding needs, the company’s board of directors agreed to increase the capital of its wholly-owned subsidiary BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Auto Industry") in cash by 8.5 Billion U.S. dollars or its equivalent (5,487 million yuan), to increase the capital of its holding subsidiary BYD Automobile Co., Ltd.
