South Africa’s bulk exports of manganese ore soared to more than 19 million tonnes in the first 11 months of 2020, according to early estimates seen by Fastmarkets.
 
Shipping data showed the record volume shipped between January and November, compared with just over 18.3 million tonnes for the whole of 2019.
