The Ministry of Commerce and Industry previously announced that the output index of India's eight core basic industries in November 2020 contracted by 2.6% year-on-year. The output of these eight core basic industries accounted for about 40.27% of the total industrial output in India. This is also the 9th consecutive month that this data has been shrinking.
