By the end on trading, LME nickel was quoted at 16150 USD/T. It rose up by 300 USD/T. Due to upturn of LME nickel market, the future nickel price went up largely in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2101 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 200 to 300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 4800-5200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 123500 RMB/T. It was 2500 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day.

Due to downturn of stainless-steel market, the ferronickel price kept on dropping. Today, in Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price was 1050-1060 RMB/Nickel. In Jiangsu Province, the price was 1040-1050 RMB/Nickel. In Liaoning Province, the price was 1030-1050 RMB/Nickel. In Inner Mongolia, the price was 1030-1040 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
