Relatively, LME nickel price rose up by 110 USD/T on last trading day. It was quoted at 15905 USD/T. Due to upturn of LME nickel market, the price of future nickel rose up in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2012 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 0-50 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 5800-6200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 124000 RMB/T. It was 800 RMB/T higher than the price on last trading day.

The trading volume was less in domestic market of future nickel. It affected ferronickel market. The price dropped down today. In Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1140 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Provinces, the price was 1120-1130 RMB/Nickel. In Jiangsu, the price was 1125-1135 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
