[ferro-alloys.com]U.S crude oil price dropped down. It affected global commodity market. So, LME nickel price dropped down. It was quoted at 15225 USD/T. It dropped down by 330 USD/T. Global macroeconomy was not in good condition, the future nickel market was in downturn in domestic market. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2012 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 100-200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 3600-3900 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 119700 RMB/T. It was 2300 lower than the price on last trading day.

Although stainless-steel market was relatively stable, the ferronickel price went down because of downturn of nickel market. In Jiangsu, Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1185 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1160-1185 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3400 RMB/T.
