Meanwhile, nickel supply was insufficient due to rainy season in Philippines. So, LME nickel price was quoted at 14650 USD/T. It rose up by 180 USD/T. Due to rising of LME nickel price, the future nickel price went up largely in domestic market in the morning. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2011 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 150-250 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1900-2100 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 117200 RMB/T. It was 3200 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day.

The stainless-steel market was steady. So, the ferronickel price was stable. In Jiangsu, Shandong Provinces, the high-grade ferronickel price reached 1165 RMB/T at most. In Inner Mongolia and Liaoning Province, the price was 1155-1165 RMB/Nickel. The low-grade ferronickel price remained at 3300-3450 RMB/T.
