[Ferro-Alloys.com] According to the data released by the State Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, from January to June 2020, Kazakhstan produced 1.826 million tons of crude steel, a year-on-year decrease of 12%; 1.166 million tons of rolled steel plate, a year-on-year increase of 12%; and 1.975 million tons of ferroalloys, with a year-on-year increase of 1.7%.

 

According to foreign media reports, the minister of Indonesian Maritime and Investment Coordination Department lhut Binsar Pandjaitan said recently that the government has set a target export value of 10 billion US dollars from steel and iron ore this year.

 

During the covid-19 epidemic, the export growth of steel and iron ore was significantly higher than that of automobile.

 

By July 25, 2020, the cumulative export volume of Indonesian steel and iron ore in this year has reached 4 billion US dollars.
