[ferro-alloys.com]Yesterday, the index of U.S dollar went down. Besides, due to Covid-19, the output of nickel ore in Philippine might be affected. It would drop down. So, the price of LME nickel rose up. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 13480 USD/T. It rose up by 80 USD/T. Although global nickel market was in upturn, the trading volume was less in domestic market of future nickel today. So, the price of future nickel rose up a little. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2008 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was 450-550 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 400-600 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 107000 RMB/T. It was the same as the price on last trading day.

Although the price of some stainless-steel products went up, the ferronickel price did not rise up due to downturn of stainless-steel market. Today, the mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 960-965 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
