[Ferro-Alloys.com] Indian hot-rolled coil exports are expected to continue in the near term due to weak domestic demand amid mounting Covid-19 infections in the country, market sources said.
India has recorded 149,348 cases in the country, with 9,195 deaths, according to government statistics. Maharashtra state, where key cities Mumbai and Pune are located, accounts for the majority of cases with 104,568 infections.
The country saw its largest spike in Covid-19 cases on Sunday June 14 at 11,929 cases, according to local media reports.
