According to the State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan, in the January to November period of the current year Kazakhstan produced 3.553 million tonnes of crude steel down 21% YoY.

Production of flat steel in Kazakhstan in the January to November period of this year decreased by 18.2% YoY to 2.253 million tonnes. In the first 11 months of 2012, Kazakhstan saw its ferroalloy production rise by 2.9% YoY to 1.577 million tonnes.
